Bridge or SLR camera as a high-end digital camera that is physically similar to DSLRs and share with them some advanced features, but share with compacts the framing photos using the live preview and sensor size small.

Superzoom bridge camera lenses often provide a very wide zoom range, generally between 10:1 and 18:1, which is achieved at the cost of some distortions, including barrel and pincushion distortion, a little more different from the lens quality.
